Jayendra Saraswati dies at Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday
The 69th chief of the Kanchi Math was 82-year-old Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati, After the respiratory discomfort, hospitalization was done, Jayendra Saraswati, 69th Chief Shankaracharya of Kanchi Math, died on Wednesday. Kanchi Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati Swamilag, chief of Kanchi Comkoti Peeth was 82 years old.

Kanchi Sankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati, the 69th Chief Shankaracharya of Kanchi Mutt, died in Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Jayendra Saraswati Swamilag, chief of Kanchi Comkoti Peeth was 82 years old. He was admitte to the hospital after suffering from breathing. His health was not going well since last year.

Kanchi Kamakoti Peeth, which operate many schools, eye clinics, and hospitals, was establish by Adi Kanchi Sankaracharya in the fifth century, and Jayendra Saraswati was the current head of this. He was declared the successor of Shri Chandrashekharan Saraswati Swamigal on 22 March 1954 and was given the title of Shri Jayendra Saraswati Death.
Jayendra Saraswati was charge in the murder case of an employee of Kanchipuram temple in 2004, but nine years later, he and other accuse were acquitte.
